To gain a personal profile of my musical experience, let me assure you of the following.
I have had over thirty years experience as a fully active music teacher, educating students privately for both pianoforte and theory.
As well as this, I have more than twenty-five years experience with classroom music up to and including VCE Year 12 as well as classroom theory in both the private and government school systems. Within this role, I’ve developed, coordinated and led many school-based practical and theory programs.
Musical qualifications include a B/A degree in music, a “Diploma of education”, an “M.I.M.T” teaching qualification, an “A Mus A” diploma for pianoforte practice and I'm also an approved registered AMEB teacher.
As well as focussing on quality teaching, our individual strategies provide for a much broader range of student needs. We are mindful of those students who through no fault of their own have been disadvantaged by distance or health issues. The added features that our courses contain are special accelerative strands that allow students to reach their goals and outcomes quicker.
You have our word and we accept complete responsibility towards maintaining an ongoing and caring “one on one” ongoing support structure. As with all correspondence courses, to maintain this ongoing care, we must be contacted if any problems could occur, regardless of how small they may seem to be at the time. This contact can be done through the Internet, through normal post, or by phone during office hours Mondays to Fridays. Internet questions and queries will be answered within 24 hours. Meanwhile, enjoy your course.
